Connecting our MCP server to Claude

Follow these steps to connect the Insites MCP server to your Claude account

Step 1: Enable MCP Setting

Please speak to your Customer Success Manager in order to enable the MCP server feature in your account.

Step 2: Add the Insites MCP Connector to Claude

Connect the Insites server to Claude on the web:

  1. Go to claude.ai in your browser

  2. Click on your profile or settings icon

  3. Navigate to Settings

  4. Select the Connections section

  5. Click Add Custom Connector

  6. Enter the following:

    1. Name: Insites

    2. Remote MCP Server URL: https://mcp.insites.com/mcp

  7. Find the newly added custom connector in the list and click Connect

Step 3: Complete OAuth Authorisation

You'll be redirected to complete the authorisation process:

  1. Review the permissions that Claude is requesting

  2. Click Authorise to grant access

  3. You'll be redirected back to Claude once authorisation is complete

  4. Confirm that the Insites MCP server now appears as connected

Once completed, Claude will be able to access the Insites tools directly through the MCP connection.
