Identify the issues found when quality checking quickly and efficiently with the Chrome Extension.
When quality-checking websites – within certain tests, the Insites Chrome extension will highlight the issues found on the website, and take you straight to them just by clicking the ‘Show me’ button. This is a huge time-saver for agents, as it takes the guesswork out of finding the problems that Insites flags. The following tests are included within the Chrome extension are:
Grammar & Spelling
Alt Tags
Broken Links
Headings
Inappropriate content
Link text
Colour contrast
How to install the Chrome extension
To install the Insites Chrome extension
Go to the My profile option, by selecting it from the menu that appears when selecting your profile icon
Click on ‘Install Chrome extension’ which will take you to the Chrome store
Hit ‘Add to Chrome’ to Install
Once installed, you’ll want to pin it to your browser window and ensure you’re logged in to your Insites account to start using it.
Once a report has been run, then head to the detail tab of any of the tests above, and where there are issues a button that is labelled ’show me’ will appear.
Head to the show me button and the Chrome extension will take you to the webpage and highlight the issues for you as you can see below!
